Consumer transparency

Partner & Network Disclosure

RateHarbor is designed to generate and route consumer requests to independent financial-service and insurance providers. This page explains the intended relationship in plain language.

This is a thoughtful pre-launch draft, not legal advice or a substitute for review by counsel familiar with lending lead generation, telemarketing, advertising, privacy, and the states where RateHarbor will operate.

How RateHarbor is paid

RateHarbor may receive compensation from participating providers or lead buyers when a request is submitted, transferred, accepted, contacted, qualified, or results in another agreed event. Compensation may vary and can create an incentive to route a request to one participating provider rather than another.

What matching means

A match means only that available request details appear to meet configured category, location, or qualification rules. It does not mean a provider will contact the consumer, offer a product, approve credit, or provide better terms.

Who makes decisions

Each provider independently controls eligibility, verification, credit inquiries, rates, terms, fees, product availability, licensing, and approval decisions. RateHarbor does not negotiate or endorse a specific offer.

Provider list and consent

Before live lead transfer, RateHarbor should maintain an accessible list or dynamically presented group of participating providers as counsel advises. Consent language and provider identification must be aligned with the technology and jurisdictions used for calls and texts.

Compare carefully

Consumers should compare APR, term, payment, fees, total repayment, collateral requirements, optional products, and the effect of extending a loan. A lower payment does not necessarily mean a lower total cost.

Operational requirement: insert verified business and consumer-request contact details before public launch.
